The lightly raced Spreydon Lodge trained filly Nemera Franco franked her eye catching debut win with a superb track record performance at Gore Raceway on December 27.

The talented Bettor's Delight 3-year-old was far too good for her rivals, sitting midfield before working into the race three-wide with 800m to go and simply sprinting clear of the field in the straight to score by an ever increasing eight lengths.

It was the filly's second consecutive win and her time of 2:41.4 for the 2200m broke Champagne Princess's 15 year old track record by 1.8 seconds.

Nemera Franco is raced in partnership by Spreydon Lodge and a large group of new and existing stable clients and connections will be hoping she can also emulate Champagne Princess's Southland Oaks victory in a few months time.

Bred by Spreydon Lodge, Nemera Franco is out of the three-win Union Guy mare Nature Franco - a broodmare gem who has left six winners from seven foals of racing age to date, including the Listed race winner Franco Nepia.
